As we wind down towards the last stretch of 2014, Saturday Night Live (SNL) is not letting up during this year’s 40th Anniversary season. Mark your calendars. Get your DVRs ready. Cancel all your plans and prepare yourself for an hour of non-stop laughs because on November 1st, famed comedian Chris Rock will host SNL. This will also be Rock’s, who was a member of the SNL cast from 1990-1993, second time back on the show as a host since his departure.
If this wasn’t already a treat, the musical legend Joey Coco himself will be serving as the evening’s musical guest. Yes! If you are fan just like I am, then you know exactly who I am talking about—the one and only Prince. This will mark the legend Prince’s second time appearing on the show…since 1981. After taking a 33-year hiatus, I have no doubt that Prince will please his fans and will deliver nothing less than a sultry and bona-fide performance.
I cannot contain my excitement over this Prince-Rock pairing. Remember, it all goes down on Saturday November 1st. Will you be tuned in?
