Great music, beautiful art and good drinks... that's how we spent our Sunday night with L.A.V.A and Shhhh Life at Silvana's . The art pop-up was filled with paintings, custom jewelry and accessories that was eye catching, original and just a burst of freshness. Tiarra Stewart and Shaka Shabazz were the two features artists. Both channelling African and African American aesthetic, their pieces felt alive and very much present.
When were weren't gazing at these one of a kind pieces, we were serenaded by talents such as L.A.V.A. CEO, Singer, Songwriter and Actress Libya Pugh, the smooth J-Keys and last, but certainly not least, Selah Sassafras-- this generation's Bob Marley! It was a tight program, but we could have stayed all night. The host, Sparkle Stokes, has such great energy, and she was nothing short of her name! Overall, it was an eclectic experience and a great way to spend a Sunday evening! I can't wait for the next pop up!
