My apologies if you were under the impression that I was going to be discussing breasts, cause unfortunately, the Double D’s I’m speaking about refer to a fashion trend called “Denim on Denim”.
Denim has been a fashion staple for quite some time now, and will remain so for years to come. It has been infused into designer collections as well as wardrobe repertoires. From rompers to leotards, it’s available in more styles than just jeans and jackets.
“Denim on Denim” is the art of mixing and pairing different textures, washes and even silhouettes. When doing so, you avoid the outdated denim look that so many of us dread. It’s a very relaxed yet chic look. I myself have been fascinated with the double denim look for quite some time, and it appears to be picking up momentum as more and more celebs are being photographed in the look as well as blogs offering their take on the trend.
You can dress your denim up or down, funk it up or punk it out. Add character to the look by selecting an acid wash distressed denim with rips. There’s an array of styles to choose from, so should you ever be confused on “how to wear denim”, consult your closest fashion forward friend who knows a thing or two about creating a look and executing a style.
